Question by Lis: Are green eyes and hazel eyes different genes?
I have seen hazel eyes and green eyes on celebrities, and they look the same. Hazel eyes sometimes looks green, but two hazel eye people don’t make hazel eye children. Green eye + green eye = green eye (I think)..
Are green eyes and hazel eyes different? Are green eyes their own type of eye color, just like blue and brown?

Yes, I myself have green eyes. And hazel is a mix between brown and green. It is way too much detail to go into but it isn’t as simple as green eye+green eye. There is also the possibility of recessive traits that you inherit. Two hazel eye people have a chance of having a hazel eye child. It is all probability. But they also could have a blue eye baby. If they both have the recessive gene for blue
