Question by Far from perfect.: Cat eyes & Smokey eyes?
I have big eyes and i was wondering if the cat eye looks bad on girls with big eyes. & would the smokey eyes make my eyes look bad. My eyes are dark drown but in the sun they tend to be alottttt lighter.
I had someone tell me that since I have big eyes i didnt look good w. cat eyes. Before I even did it! :\
Any tips on how to get the perfect cat eyes & do the perfect smokey eye.
Please some advice. Thanks guys. (:

My gosh smokey eyes and cat eyes look best on people with large eyes, they make your eyes pop even more and draw attention to how lucky you are to have large eyes.
Think Angelina Jolie, she has huge eyes and rocks the cat/ smokey look.

To achieve the perfect cat eye/ smokey look have a set of at least 3 eye shadows all in the same colour scheme, one light, one medium and a dark one.
Use the lightest one all over the lid and under the brow. Then take the medium one and use this in the crease and outside edge and then finally use the darkest colour in only the outside edge. So from the inside edge to the outside edge your lids should get darker. To achieve the cat look take an eyeliner (preferably liquid) and draw a line on the upper lid starting out thin but getting thicker as you go along, make a sweeping stroke at the end.

I have big brown eyes

Put on dark eyeliner on top and bottom lashes. And wear brown eyeshadow. You could use greys as well…but don’t over do it. Wear your mascara thick to make your lashes pop.

Question by TEENAGER: Face or eye brushes first?
I am going to buy some sigma brushes but I’m tied between these two, the face brushes and the eye brushes. I am neither in desperate need for any of these brushes(like I need them tomorrow omg!!!)

I have some face brushes already (like 2-3) but very little eye brushes so I wondering if I really need to buy the face brushes(foundation, whatever) first or eye brushes(for eyeshadow and all)

P.S. I need your opinion meaning if you would get the face brush or eye brush first, please don’t tell me face brush only because it is more important ><

I would go with purchasing the eye brushes first, as eyes are most often noticed before any other feature on the face. If you have fewer eye brushes than face, then you want eye brushes. I would suggest purchasing them online as you can often find some great deals on high-quality brushes. Coastal Scents is a favorite, affordable makeup line for many. Using amazon to find some makeup brushes is a good place to start! Hope I helped!

Question by Sarah: How to apply eye makeup for dark brown eyes?
So I just got an eye makeup kit that comes with a few different shades of eye shadow, brown eyeliner, and mascara, It doesn’t exactly say how to apply each eyeshadow though. The colors that it comes with are:
1.A light tan color
2.Gold
3.A shade darker than the tan color
4.And White.
I was wondering how to apply the makeup it comes with to my eyes because there’s an important event coming up and I want my eyes to stand out.

I also have regular black eyeliner and a few other shades of brown eye shadow incase that’s important.(It didn’t come with the kit though)

Use the light tan color all over your lid. Then use the gold only on your lower lid. Then put the darker tan in the crease, and use the white to highlight your upper lid, and the inner corner of your eye. This may be a heavy look depending on how dark these colors actuallly are, so I suggest using the gold by itself. Or mix the light and dark tans. You may not even need eyeliner for the first look, but you can try the brown eyeliner on your lower lash line, and a little on top. Then add 2 or 3 coats of mascara!

Question by Princess: Can an Opthamologist removes stitches from the eye?
my 6 year old got stitches in his eyelid . Does his primary doctor take out the stitches or can an Opthamologist do it. Some people are telling me they dont do that but i would think so since it is an eye specialist.

Ophthalmologists are medical doctors just like your primary care doctor. Most Ophthalmologists perform minor surgical procedures and many of them perform major surgical procedures, so removing stitches is certainly within their scope of practice. It would be unusual if an Ophthalmologist did not offer this procedure.

Optometrists are the type of eye doctors that most people see. In addition to prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, Optometrists diagnose and treat diseases of the eye but the vast majority of Optometrists do not perform surgery. However, removing stitches from an eyelid is a fairly simple process that an Optometrist could easily perform, but you would have to check their office to see if they do it.

I alluded to this in my reply above. Tabu inked their pressing & distribution deal with CBS in ’78. Brainstorm’s "Stormin’" LP was the last release under the RCA deal. However, it still doesn’t address why releases appeared on both RCA & Tabu labels unless RCA retained the rights to continue manufacturing "Stormin’" & all related singles from that LP after their deal with Tabu ended. Usually, when distribution changes, the rights to manufacture past releases transfer to the new company as well.

You 100% sure about that? Every copy I’ve ever seen (including mine) have "Dist.by CBS" etc. along the bottom edge of the label. Even 1978 releases like Brainstorm’s "Journey To the Light" and Sharon Ridley’s "Full Moon" were CBS distributed. Reverting back to RCA two years into a the CBS deal seems a little odd.

It might have been easy to miss with the excitement of the next home game and The Great Gatsby showing at the SLC (the line was out the door), but students who surfed the web recently may have noticed an interesting new trend. According to Yahoo!, Japanese digital artist Haruki Godo has been in the spotlight recently for redesigning the Disney princesses in their prince's clothes and actually doing a decent job of it.

Naturally there are some loopholes. For example, Meg from Hercules is technically still in a skirt, and when did Jasmine ever wear anything but pants? And I'm sure guys who saw the pictures were disappointed that Jane was dressed in Tarzan's rarely worn suit instead of loincloths.

But the biggest loophole of all was that Merida, the latest and arguably greatest of the Disney princesses, wasn't there. Now that Disney officially owns Pixar, they should have had no problem giving her a makeover. At first I thought maybe it was because she, like Mulan who is also missing, doesn't technically have a prince she can borrow clothes from. Then I noticed Cinderella is missing too, which is just weird. Since when does Madellaine from that one-star Hunchback of Notre Dame sequel count instead of the awesome girls who are not only active protagonists, but are actual princesses?

This Disney princess-turned-prince movement coupled with the drama that erupted over the Miss America pageant will make for some interesting conversations about the progress of women's rights. Maybe instead of celebrating Miss America's diversity, it would be better to have no Miss America at all, since for years people have claimed that it objectifies women as nothing more than pretty faces and skinny bodies. Maybe Disney is actually starting to realize that there is more than one female body type.

It's scary to think how much progress is still left, but awareness and conversations are always the first step to change.

Skin care products for men seem unattainable and therefore they are often unsought by the general male population, but men's skincare is actually gaining more and more attention in the beauty industry. The array of men's skincare products has completely expanded, urging men to start paying attention to their skin.

In the past, many men have seemed afraid to splurge on skincare products in fear of appearing too feminine. The truth is everyone should be concerned about healthy skin. Sweat, sun, dirt, grease and pollution can damage your skin and in some cases lead to health issues down the road. Every guy should be aware that there are products out there for every skin type, and that your skin care regime can be as specific as you need it to be to look and feel your best from this day forward.

Remember, all face washes and moisturizers are not created equally. Read labels carefully because each product on the market is designed with a specific skin type in mind. Whether you are oily and prone to acne, or dry and peeling, there is a product that will help eliminate these problems over time.

— Dry Skin

Dry skin is caused by a loss of water in the top layer of skin and goes hand in hand with sun damage. For dry skin, find a cleanser that contains glycerin and hyaluronic acid. Glycerin draws water to the outer layer of the skin. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in our body and applying it topically on the face allows the skin to hold water on its surface, increasing smoothness and eliminating dryness and wrinkles.

Recommendations for dry skin include using the Healthy Facial Wash by Men-U, which is ideal for before and after shaving, and the Neutrogena Men's Triple Protect Face Lotion as a moisturizer. Its SPF 20 protects your face from UV rays while healing dry skin.

— Oily Skin

For oily skin, it's definitely worth dedicating time to finding the right product to reduce oiliness and cleanse your pores. When choosing a face wash, look for the term "non-comedogenic": This means that special testing has been done on the product to ensure the consumer that it will not clog pores, something that oily skin can definitely do without. Two big ingredients to look for should be salicylic acid and tea tree oil. Both soak up oil and neutralize the bacteria in pores that cause acne. For a moisturizer, consider using Anthony's Oil Free Facial Lotion SPF 15, because even oily skin needs to be moisturized, and having UV protection is always a bonus.

Combination skin occurs when there are parts of your face that are dry, and others that are more prone to being oily. When you have combination skin, it can be a bit difficult to determine what needs to be done. Jojoba oil is recommended for combination skin because it is non-comedogenic and natural. Applying it to oily areas stops excessive oil production, while using it on dry areas of the face helps keep skin soft and moist by emitting a sort of protective film. L'Oreal Men's Expert Pure & Matte Deep Exfoliating Gel Wash is a perfect go-to for combination skin. As both a cleanser and exfoliator, it rinses away dirt from the pores without leaving dryness. Peter Thomas Roth's All Day Moisture Defense Cream has SPF 20 and is suitable for all skin types.

Maintaining a skin care routine specific to you can improve overall health and benefit the body and mind alike. Next time you're looking for soap to wash your face, think about your skin; your body will thank you for taking the time and effort to appropriately care for it.

But while house beats are mainly what you’ll hear while lounging by the pool and checking out the hot bods, it’s "not so much a fist pumping party," Cardinali laughs.

"Basically, we try to play more of a sexy sound, more of a European type of vibe. We try to stay away from the big nightclub scene."

And like any experienced DJ, resident Chicco Secci goes with the flow.

"I see the crowd in the moment and I go with it, from sexy house music to EDM to deep house," the beat banger says. "It doesn’t have limits."

"I like to see people having fun, so I go in one direction for a while. They follow, and then I switch it up. It all depends on the situation."

Sometimes, Pool House is forced to improvise in other ways, since Miami wouldn’t be Miami without downpours of rain. Thankfully, Hyde is equipped to handle sudden storms quite well.

"One thing Hyde has that no other pool has is the ability to function in the rain and to keep the party going," Cardinali says. "People go inside and it actually gets better sometimes."

Secci agrees. "A few weeks ago, it started raining so hard. Half of the people threw themselves in the pool and danced like crazy. The rest went inside and continued the party. I was like, ‘Wow.’ I’ve never seen nothing like that."

But while Pool House may try to avoid the whole uhntz-uhntz thing and provide an all-weather party environment, when it comes to exclusivity, Cardinali concedes that Hyde "runs a very tight door."

"Saturdays is the party where you’re gonna encounter a lot of people from all over the place," he explains. "We also seem to attract more celebrities on Saturdays, a lot of football players, whoever is in town for the weekend."

So while everyone is welcome to partake in the poolside festivities, "we cater to a certain kind of clientele and the prices are obviously not cheap," Cardinali says, "and it kinda keeps the crowd a little diverse.

"Everything about this place is Miami," brags Cardinali.

"You don’t have to go to the pool at all. You can hang out in the garden, kick it inside at the bar and play foosball or watch college football games. You can design it to be whatever you want. It’s a straight up party."

Undated — The Federal Communications Commission is cracking down on ‘cramming’. Obviously, we’re not talking about pulling an all-nighter in hopes of acing your college finals. It’s a term used for unauthorized fees on your cell phone bill. And it’s possible you’ve paid them – without even knowing it.

Samantha Malone opened her cell phone bill and discovered she’d been charged for a game she never ordered. "I saw a charge I think it was for .99 and I didn’t ever remember subscribing to anything that would warrant that charge."

Malone was a victim of cramming — unauthorized charges that mysteriously appear on monthly phone bills. The FCC estimates Malone is one of 20 million Americans who’ve been schemed that way.

FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski said, "The charges can be for voice mail or long distance that the consumer didn’t request." The charges usually range from .99 to .99, but only about 5% of consumers realize they’re being ripped off because the fees are hard to spot.

Regulators are now working on new rules to crack down on the problem, and they’re setting up a tip sheet that will be available on www.fcc.gov to help people recognize and report suspicious charges. Genachowski said, "You can call a third party charge, that number should be on the bill, or call your phone company." Consumers should ask questions like: Do I recognize the names of all of the companies listed on my bill? Are there charges for calls I did not place or products or services I did not authorize?

Malone says her phone company didn’t help her, but her credit card company resolved the problem.

Last week, the FCC recommended more than million in fines against four companies: Main Street Telephone, VoiceNet Telephone, LLC, Cheap2Dial Telephone, LLC., and Norristown Telephone, LLC. They’re all accused of billing tens of thousands of consumers for unauthorized charges.

A Tallahassee man is accused of secretly videotaping beneath the skirts of dozens of women.

Charles Korst was initially arrested for an incident at the Publix sushi counter.

A review of his computer hard drive revealed 88 "up-skirt" videos and court records indicate one of them is of a girl as young as 10.

Police went to Charles Korst’s home in search of a camera. They found an external hard drive taped to the back of his dresser. On it, they say, were dozens of videos that showed women’s faces and the view beneath their skirts.

"It’s shocking and it’s violating," said shopper Jessica Koon. "I I come here all the time, run in, run out, and would have never suspected anybody of doing anything like that."

"I think it’s outrageous for someone to want do something so egregious as to look up someone’s dress," said fellow shopper Tongy Rodriguez. "Get him off the street."

Arrest papers show Korst "skirted the law’ most often at Publix, but investigators say there were shoppers at Best Buy, Target, Wal Mart, Home Depot and Bed Bath and Beyond who were captured on tape by the accused video voyeur.

Perhaps the most shocking? Arrest papers say at least two of the victims were children under 16.

Court papers show Korst followed a young teen in Home Depot for more than 16 minutes taking at least 8 shots beneath her skirt and even removing the camera from the basket to get a full body shot.

The other young victim is estimated to be between 10 and 12 years old. That video appears to be taken in the toy aisle at Wal Mart.

"He wouldn’t have been lasting long in the aisles had I seen somebody trying to do something like that. I think people need to pay more attention to their kids," said shopper Brian Durham, "and people need to pay attention to the surroundings."

Arrest papers say some of the video clips even include full or partial views of Korst’s own face.

Most of the videos were taken between February and October of 2011.
Korst is accused of videotaping as many as six women in one day.

Police also found what they say are three pornographic pictures of young children on Korst’s computer hard drive.

He is facing 86 misdemeanors and five felonies. His bond is set at ,000.

Korst’s attorney had no comment on the most recent charges.

A Tallahassee man arrested for video voyeurism last month is now facing dozens of new charges.

Charles Korst is facing 86 new charges of video voyeurism (misdemeanors), two counts of video voyeurism on a child under 16 (felonies) and three counts of possession of child pornography (felonies).

Prosecutor Jon Fuchs says the charges were filed after a review of Korst’s computer hard drive. He says there were even more videos on the computer, but he pressed charges only for videos that showed beneath women’s skirts or showed women’s undergarments.

Fuchs says the videos appear to be taken at stores all over town, including Home Depot, Walmart and Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

Korst was arrested last month outside the Lake Ella Publix after a woman reported he was using a camera in his grocery basket to try to film up her skirt.

Korst is slated to make an appearance before a judge this morning.

Fuchs says investigators do not beleive Korst created the images of child pornography. He says those appear to be downloaded images.

A Tallahassee man is accused of stashing a camera in his grocery basket and trying to take pictures beneath a woman’s skirt. He was caught and we soon discovered this was not his first venture time.

It happened at the Lake Ella Publix just after noon on Monday.

TPD arrest papers say a woman at the sushi counter first noticed a man’s handheld grocery basket brushing up against her leg. She didn’t want it to snag her pantyhose, arrest papers say, so she moved. Then it happened again and when she turned around she noticed a camera in the corner of his basket "with the lens extended."

Tallahassee Police arrested Charles Korst in the parking lot soon afterward on charges of video voyeurism.

"I find it shocking that someone would even do such a thing honestly. I’m just glad that the woman ran him off and he was caught," said Publix shopper Anna Smith.

A check of Leon County court records shows Korst has been arrested for voyeurism seven times. Most of them are misdemeanors and they date back to 2004.

WCTV did a story on him in 2006 when he was accused of taking pictures of women in the fitting room at Target.

Court records indicate that over the years he’s done 10 days in jail, been on probation, done community service and even entered a treatment program.

This time, he’s charged with a felony.

"It makes you angry that he hasn’t learned his lesson. So maybe we need to teach him a lesson," shopper Connie Walberg said as she loaded groceries into her car.

"The authorities definitely need to know where he’s at all the time. There’s no telling what this guy is capable of doing. It may lead to something else," shopper Steven Walker said.

Korst was released from jail on 00 bond. His attorney Bill Davis says he does not comment on a pending case and has no comment on Korst’s past run ins with the law.

You know even going through felony arrests on WCTV it seems you see at least one sexual predator a week if not more. I think spending taxpayers dollars would be a good idea in these cases. No, not for the jail time, but see that every sexual predator never has the chance to do anything stupid again. Make them unics, nothing there, nothing to think about or try doing…..

How about LE let this guy loose in a pin with all the women that he has taken pictures off.. That way all parties get what they want.. the guy with a bunch of women, and the women get their justice….. just let these ladies beat him up…so we don’t have to spend more tax payers money.

Joplin is a BEAUTIFUL, big, handsome boy with a very laid-back personality. He has gorgeous medium length fur, which is black on top and has a unique smokey-grey undercoat. And he has the most stunning big, bright, light-green eyes. Very pretty! He’s such a good boy and interactive – he’ll chat with you. When he’s being petted, he’ll reach up and ‘make biscuits’ in the air for attention. When he’s very happy and content, he’ll purr up a storm and he drools. Just a charming quirk he has!
This gorgeous boy is estimated to be around 4-5 years old, has been neutered and is front de-clawed. He has been vaccinated, blood tested and is negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV, has been flea treated and de-wormed. This big boy is ready to go and start a new chapter in his life. He’s such a great cat and will make someone a wonderful pet.
And yes, Joplin came from the tornado devastated area. A vet from Kansas City had rushed down during the initial days of the disaster to volunteer and provide relief work at the shelter. The vet saw beautiful Joplin, and a little old Papillon dog (later named Janice, who is vision impaired and was needing dental work). Joplin had a very bad cold, had been sneezing a lot, and was so congested that he was not eating. He was placed on antibiotics, given fluids, given steam treatments for the congestion, and his food intake was monitored. He bounced back quickly with medical care, and is now over his cold.
The Joplin Humane Society is a kill facility (they have suspended this policy at the moment to help rehome displaced animals from the tornado) and the vet had fallen in love with a few of their ‘special needs’ animals that were already at the shelter prior to the tornado. These lucky pets are getting the TLC they need and a second chance at a new life!

Hi as a makeup artist i love colours and for my clients i often do a toned down smokey eye which is perfect for day wear because you just need to have less shimer and sparkle and more subtle tones so you can do a salmon pink to grey coal smokey eye or a peachy bronze to off black toned smokey eye and i’m gonna link some videos and pictures at the bottom to demonstrate what i mean.. but basically you wanna cover your eyelid with a neutral colour like beige or salmon even bronze is fine then take a creme or white and highlight your brow bone now you’re gonna add a slightly darker colour into the crease of the eyelid and this will be the same family so if you used beige then now you’re gonna use something a little darker like mocha toned and then smoke it out using a grey/coal colour doesn’t have to be harsh like black use the grey and then if you make any mistakes or wanna tone it down all you do is apply face powder to your brush and sweep it over the area.. here’s the kinda thing you want to try out you can always subsitute colours for what works with your skin type and eyes

Obama, Islam, and the Forcible Virginity Test

Two months after Obama insisted that President Mubarak had to resign after 30 years in office for not being nice enough to the "young democracy demonstrators" in Tahrir Square, the New York Times has finally stated the obvious: the Muslim Brotherhood is winning the power struggle in Egypt. Duh. Ya think?

The media have also belatedly seen fit to print the fact that sixteen unmarried women were arrested in the demonstrations in Tahrir Square, and that Egyptian military submitted all sixteen to a compulsory "virginity test" in jail, just to see if they were properly modest Muslim virgins.

Think about the sadistic "logic" of that. To see if unmarried Muslim women were virgins, obedient to Islam, they were essentially humiliated, abused, and perhaps raped in public.

Will somebody please tell Germaine Greer? Or Helen Thomas? Christiane Ahmanpour? The nearest Women’s Studies Department at your local university? Or are their phones busy again, and they’re not paying attention? Maybe they’re afraid of "Islamophobia"?

Those Cairo cops represent the forces of law and order in Egypt, the same forces we are expecting to work out an enlightened, democratic regime after Hosni Mubarak. That "virginity test" shows what this Muslim revolution is about. It’s not about Jeffersonian democracy. It is all about the never-ending failure of Islam to come to terms with civilized values, the ones the West chose two centuries ago during the period called the Enlightenment.

The United States Constitution is still by far the most successful political outcome of the Enlightenment. Nothing else comes close. Constitutionalism is the only successful political tradition that has ever been designed to deal with the disease of abuse of power. If you want an image of raw abuse of power, think Tahrir Square and the forcible virginity test.

Apparently the White House and every liberal looneytunes airhead in the West is stunned, just stunned, m’dear, by the Muslim reactionaries who are grabbing power all over the Arab world. Who coulda thunk? Obama meant so well. All the good libs are eager to vote for him again in 2012, ’cause of all the good intentions and lovely words he has brought to our foreign policy. Liberal delusions are always stronger than reality. If reality had anything to do with it, they would have dumped their dysfunctional beliefs fifty years ago.

Conservatives have known about the threat of Islamic fascism for 30 years, ever since Jimmy Carter let "some kind of saint" Ayatollah Khomeini assume absolute power in Tehran in 1979. When Carter stopped Iran’s military from supporting the Shah, Khomeini promptly had assassinated, imprisoned, and tortured the Shah’s supporters, plus any democratic opposition groups, plus the Communist faction of the Mujahhedin Khalq, plus anybody else who stood in this way — including those American diplomats he kept locked up at the US Embassy for a year until Ronald Reagan got elected.

Then Khomeini had a war with Saddam that killed a million people. But Jimmy Carter is still completely convinced that he Did the Right Thing back in 1979. None so blind as will not see.

Obama has never understood the US Constitution, apparently, because he has that basic delusion of all the little leftocrats everywhere: He’s the good guy. All that stuff about "power corrupts" just doesn’t apply to him. That’s only for the bad people, you see. Like Christian conservatives.

Obama is a power-happy ideologue, and the biggest question today is whether the United States Constitution can survive his years in power. The founders knew about the Obamas of this world, because they saw them everywhere. There is nothing new about grandiosity and fragile self-esteem. You can read all about it in Gibbons’ Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, and before that, the Biblical Book of Kings. It’s even in the Epic of Gilgamesh. Human nature hasn’t changed one little bit in 6,000 years.

The American founders built the Constitution to withstand narcissistic power grabbers. After their handiwork was adopted, some of them saw Napoleon rise to power after the French Revolution, the original Man on a White Horse, come to rescue humanity from the anarchy of revolution. Napoleon killed more Europeans than anybody else before the two world wars. The founders didn’t like what they saw in France. Jefferson and Franklin both had been US Ambassadors there. They could see it for themselves.

After Napoleon, Europe wandered away from its own Enlightenment tradition into Marxism, National Socialism, monarchism, revenge-driven nationalism, imperialism, Islam (in the Ottoman Empire), and any number of other tyrannies. The trendiest thinkers over there are boasting how they are "post-modern," which means "I’m dead set against the Enlightenment."

That’s how Marxism has now become big on American campuses. Our professors are aping their European idols’ love affairs with totalitarian ideologies, in spite of the millions of victims those pathologies always leave behind. In the ass-backwards world of the Left this is called "Progressivism." Really. Just check ‘em out on Huffpo.

Islam came straight from the Arabian desert of the 7th century. It reflects the lives of desert pirates, robbers, rapists and genociders, which was perfectly suited to nomadic life in the desert. That’s how tribes conquered each other, as Lawrence of Arabia found out again in World War I. Desert Arabs literally took no prisoners — except for women and children, who became slaves. Lawrence was a British romantic who hero-worshipped the desert Arabs, and then, after putting King Faisal into power, he decided to disappear forever, in deep disgust with his own romance with murderous primitives.

Wherever reactionary Islam takes over it re-creates the 7th century desert. Since the breakdown of the Ottoman Empire at the end of World War I, the Muslim world has been zig-zagging between modern values, like equality for women, and medieval desert values. Iran was a great victory for the reactionary throwbacks, and Obama has just tipped the balance in that direction again.

This is exactly what the likes of Code Pink and Bill Ayers were agitating for six months ago, in alliance with Hamas and Hezb’allah. It was so Progressive. The Muslim Revolt may spell the end of women’s rights around the Muslim world, as well as electoral government and the whole Constitutional order that made the modern world possible — including nations of laws, science, technology, free speech, the works. Reactionary Islam took over in Iran thirty years ago, and now it’s out of control, thanks to the criminal collusion of the Left. Don’t forget that. This is not just the Mo Bros. It’s the Mo’s plus Code Pink that makes this happen. If you want to know whom to blame for the forcible "virginity test," yes, you can blame Jodie Evans and Medea Benjamins.

The New York Times reports that the Egyptian Bros and the military are now allied to take over. Right at the start the Bros called for war with Israel, because it was their enemy Mubarak who kept the Egyptian-Israeli Peace treaty going for three decades. The Bros also brought back from exile their own Ayatollah Khomeini, Al Qaradawi, and celebrated with their own Million Muslim March in Tahrir Square. They also threw out the Google twitter mobster who helped make the revolt happen.

So much for the "young democracy demonstrators." They are being treated like the demonstrators in Tehran, the ones Obama didn’t give a hoot about for fear of offending ol’ bloody-handed Ahmadinejad.

Are you surprised? I hope not. We are seeing a chain reaction from Morocco to Pakistan. In two years the chain reactions may be nuclear, starting with Iran, but then followed by everyone who can pay for nukes from Pakistan and North Korea: Syria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, maybe Bahrain and the UAE. Every Saudi billionaire will want his own nuke, and some of them will pass them on to Al Qaida. Islam is all about charity, you see.

The Middle East has always been a powder keg, and Obama just tossed in a match to see what was gonna happen, like a kid with fireworks. Community agitators live to agitate, and now we see one community after another crumbling as a direct result of all that agit-prop. This is the biggest victory for Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals: Let’s light it up and see what happens! No wonder Alinsky dedicated that book to Lucifer.

"All the best revolutions are organic" was Obama’s Leninist piece of wisdom when he was yelling at Hillary in the White House several weeks ago. "All the best revolutions." Think about that.

Libya is now being bombed, because, after under-reacting to Ahmadinejad in Tehran, Obama is now over-reacting in Egypt and Libya. Hey, it’s a revolution, baby! Celebrate!

Before the Watts Riots of 1966, a famous black radio jockey had this signature slogan: Burn, Baby, Burn! Then the riots happened, with people actually burning down houses, and the jock changed his slogan to: "Have Mercy, Baby!" That’s Obama.

What is it about liberals that they can’t figure out murderous ideologies?

Future historians will look back and ask "Who lost the Middle East?" The answer is going to hit them right between the eyes: It was Obama’s gross arrogance and ignorance, in kowtowing to Islamic fascism just by apologizing to them and giving them the Peace Sign, like some Indian chief in the Lone Ranger. "How! Friend!" "You, me, smoke peace pipe!"

This is because Obama really understands the Underdeveloped World, you see.

Will the US Constitution survive this president? I don’t know. Maybe that sturdy old vessel might sail back to harbor, with considerable damage to those old timbers, those strong sails and ropes.

Or maybe it will sink.

Lady of Justice.

The origin of the "Lady of Justice" statue may be Themis, a mythological Greek goddess. She was a Titan, daughter of Uranus and Ge, and a trusted advisor to Zeus (although Zeus never fully trusted anybody) after his purge of the old pantheon. In depictions of her, she carries the scales of justice (fairness) in one hand, and a sword (the power to judge) in the other. Sometimes her eyes are covered, but just as often they are not. She became an oracle at Delphi, and renowned as a goddess of ‘divine’ justice.

Now Themis and Zeus had a daughter they called Dike. She became known as a goddess of justice, too, but not of ‘divine’ justice. That honor was reserved for Themis. No, it was Dike’s job to make sure that every mortal got a fair shake. For this she was equipped with the judicial sword of power, but is depicted without the scales.

It’s said that Themis and Zeus had another daughter, Astraea (although some say she’s the daughter of Eos and Astraeus – but that’s quite another matter). In any case it’s not quite clear whether Dike and Astraea are one and the same or two individual goddesses. Regardless, the head of Astrea was crowned with ears of grain and she ‘does’ carry a balance. I’m at a loss to explain the corn connection, but Astraea gained prominence as the last of the immortals to leave earth after the ‘Golden Age.’ Besides weighing in on justice, she has also been called a goddess of purity and innocence (still doesn’t explain the corn) after whom the constellation Virgo was named.

Egyptian justice came via Maat, also a woman who happened to be the daughter of none other than the great sun god, Ra. She also carried power sword but had do without the scale of justice.

In Rome, the goddess of justice was called Justitia, and like Themis and Dike, usually was depicted with both sword and scales; however, the Romans went a step further and covered her eyes with a blindfold (blind justice!). That is how she has come to be commonly depicted since, although, in America we tend to do away with the blindfold.

The representation of the Lady of Justice on the Trumbull County Courthouse is one of a mature young woman ‘without’ a blindfold draped in flowing robes. She brandishes a sword and reaches up to show us her scales. The four identical statues standing on the pointed arch centered on all four sides sides of the building symbolize the fair and equal administration of the law. At least, we hope.
