Not as interesting to me as Wallace & Gromit and The Lunar Society ones (well I am male). This one in on Corporation Street, outside the House of Fraser. It is called Make-Up Compact.

This is a Stratton brand, established in 1860, and linked to Birmingham, designing metal goods and jewellery.

The compacts were made from 1923.

This is probably the ideal location for this floral display, as women come by here to shop for clothes etc.

Have noticed women using compacts to apply make-up on the bus.

I left it in Text setting by mistake (not that it makes much of a difference) as I was in a rush to do this as quick as possible.

A lot of buses queueing on Corporation Street behind this make-up display thing I was going for.
