What is the easiest way to do the smokey eye look? What all do I need and what colors? I have tried and tried with no luck. Please help. Thank You

out a medium color on your lid then a darker color in the crease. then to make it really smokey try to put a really dark color or black in the outer corner of your eyelid! (use a light hand!)
